Reservation conditions
To make the reservation of a private tour, we ask for an advance payment of 50%, the following 50% will be paid on the day of the excursion. To make the reservation of a shared tour, we ask for a 100% prepayment for the purchase of one or more tickets.
Cancellation conditions
There is always the possibility to cancel a reservation:
Cancellation 14 days before the excursion -> 100% customer refund
Cancellation 7 days before the excursion -> 75% Customer Refund
Cancellation less than 48 hours before the excursion -> 50% customer refund
Cancellation less than 24 hours before the excursion -> NO REFUND TO THE CUSTOMER
Weather cancellation conditions
The Maggiore Lake Experience reserves the right to assess the current weather conditions before and during the excursion and to cancel any reservations if strictly necessary. In case of forced cancellation of the excursion due to external factors; storm, lake conditions, technical problems, etc. we guarantee a 100% refund to the customer. In the event that the weather conditions allow the excursion without any danger to the customer, the exit will be carried out in any case without any reimbursement e.g. (light wind, cloudy, light rain, etc.) If for any other reason the customer wishes to cancel the exit, which we deem feasible, the general cancellation condition will apply. (Less than 24h before -> No refund to the customer) If possible, we will try to modify or move the excursion by finding an agreement with the customer.
Delay conditions
In case of delays, the exit will NOT be postponed, making up for lost time, this in order to guarantee a punctual service to the next customer. The customer is obliged to pay the entire reservation even if the duration of the excursion is shortened. If the customer does not show up at the scheduled time to start the excursion, the customer will be billed 100% in any case. In case of delays, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can find the best solution. In case it is a delay of ours (eg 15 min) we will extend the exit to reach the pre-established time.
damage
In case of damage to the boat, to the boat furnishings or excessive cleaning to be carried out by us at the end of the excursion, the extra cleaning costs will be invoiced to the customer.
Illness
In case of motion sickness (sea sickness) during the excursion it is immediate concern of the customer, to notify us promptly, this to allow us as far as possible to limit the malaise for the customer (speed adjustment, change of course, etc.) In case of forced return for illness, no refund will be granted to the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to know their skills as a swimmer, we recommend 2h of waiting after meals, before diving.
Other conditions
Any use of narcotic substances is strictly prohibited on board, if the tenant deems it appropriate for the safety of the customer, he will be able to interrupt the excursion without any refund. We may refuse to welcome guests alternating alcohol or drugs on board. We do not take responsibility in the event of customs checks or by the police. Children are the responsibility of parents, we do not take any responsibility. On board is only allowed the use of electronic cigarettes, for smokers it will be possible to do so only on the piers, or during the breaks taken during the excursion. As Major Lake Experience we are responsible for your safety, this implies that we have the constant right to interrupt, cancel, postpone excursions if for any reason (weather, malaise, safety, etc.) we deem it necessary. Any decision may be made by the owner of the vessel, to ensure the safety of customers.
